When asking 'where is this' during deep focussed silence this 24 December, Costa Rica came very close to me; my work with a children's village will evolve and take root.

A vision from deep silence
My friend Wynn urged me to do a picture for what was beckoning; as a gift to myself after the near horizon of motherhood vanished for a fifth time; in deep silence, this picture came to me; with such a feeling of nourishment and gentleness, it became my compass.It was shown to me in deep silence on 24 December 2022, that this is the cluster for me to settle into; and from there, my work with a children's village will evolve and take root.

A natural evolution
After 14 years in change management, the 'top down' approach became too controlling an more natural approach was possible upon working independently; in 2012 there began a journey towards more love, and source, having been introduced to theory u - a way to move through change connected to source; as a living process and movement with what is presencing; as my connection with nature began to restore more fully upon moving to the forest in 2014.
Makers of life
My fascination and love of anthropology, ancient history, art, craft and architecture, nature and the wonders of our existence have me marvel at how the act of 'making' is so fundamental to our evolution.
Visions of making a better future for children
A natural flow of inspiration, visions, ideas, designs and prototypes of creations for children for these times; for them directly and for the weaving of communities around them, that assist in their care and highest evolution possible; especially in these times of such a huge turning point and transition.
Seeing through the eyes of love
The gold from this was the experience of a deeper, more harmonious way to approach change; with an invitation to 'see purely through the eyes of love'; with no desire or movement to 'change' anything; to be fully present 'with what is' and follow that which arises in awareness, that beckons for change; an unusual experience in 'design for change' circles!
Livelihoods for children was an interesting inquiry as to how to assist children who need to work, to do so in the best way possible for them.
Being part of UnBox was profoundly inspiring and rich by way of cross-pollination of practice and ideas for social change in communities through design.
A turning point in placemaking
Through the experience of working with a multi-disciplinary team of a leading architect, london city planner and development project broker in 2013 on a design proposal for a new garden city; brought a dawning realisation of the commercial priorities in traditional placemaking, and in town and city planning; over the wellbeing and highest evolution of people and nature; a turning point, marking my departure from mainstream projects and practices; gathering what was useful, to assist with a democratic, earth-centred approach to placemaking; in harmony with nature and with people and the earth at the heart of design process and the development.
